Jennifer Lopez Doesn't Want To Testify

Jennifer Lopez will not be forced to testify in a lawsuit against his former Sean Combs on his involvement in a 1999 New York club shooting.The singer/actress have been dating hip-hop moguls at the time of the incident, and were present at the deceased Club of New York during gunfire in the place on December 27, 1999, injuring two people.

Combs' rap protégé Shyne, real name is Jamal Barrow, is currently 10 years imprisonment after being found guilty of assault, reckless endangerment and possession of firearms in the trial as a result of the shooting.

The rap heavyweight was arrested for various accusations of violations, including weapons, but was acquitted of all charges.

Combs and Shyne are currently a struggle against $ 130 million (GBP65 million) civil suit filed by the victim Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident.

Jennifer Lopez - who was not called as a witness in connection with a 2001 criminal trial - was assigned by Reuben's lawyers in June (08), and should give her deposition on Tuesday (05Aug08).

But according to the reports, Jennifer Lopez had "nothing to contribute" to the case, and its deposit has been cancelled indefinitely - news which was confirmed by counsel for Reuben.
